About Me
Founder of Little Body Balance
Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (BCTMB) with over 24 years of clinical experience and a passion for helping babies and families. My work brings together decades of hands-on experience and specialized training in therapeutic bodywork, the nervous system, infant massage, reflexology, lymphatic techniques and more.
Over the years, I've heard one question from parents more than almost any other:
The truth is, much of the work I perform clinically has taken years of specialized education and hands-on experience to learn. Craniosacral and myofascial techniques, neurovascular integration, lymphatic techniques and other modalities aren't things I believe can—or should—be condensed into a few online tutorials for parents.
But I've also learned that there are things I can teach.
Infant massage gives parents a practical, approachable way to use their own hands, become more familiar with their baby's body and become even more attuned to the little cues and patterns their baby is communicating.
That realization became the foundation for Little Body Balance.
I created Little Body Balance to take what can safely and realistically be taught at home and make it understandable for everyday parents and caregivers—without expecting you to become a bodyworker yourself.
My goal is to give you simple techniques, thoughtful guidance and the confidence to support your baby in ways that feel natural and achievable at home.
I've been a massage therapist since 2002, but my path into working with babies began several years later.
I became fascinated with the nervous system and wanted to understand more about the relationship between the brain, the body and movement. I began studying at the Neurovascular Institute, where my training in sensory brain development, mouth work, neurovascular flow and embryology completely changed the way I approached the body.
That education eventually led me to work with children with developmental delays and sensory processing challenges, as well as adults with traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries. The more I learned, the more my practice evolved. What began as traditional massage increasingly became specialized work centered around the nervous system, movement and the subtle patterns I could feel with my hands.
After moving to Las Vegas in 2013, my education continued. I completed extensive training in lymphatic drainage and eventually worked in a lymphatic clinic supporting women recovering from breast cancer. In 2018, while attending an event for the lymphatic clinic, I met Dr. Tara of Smart Mouth, a tongue-tie and airway-focused practice here in Las Vegas. She told me they were looking for a bodyworker to join their team alongside lactation consultants and myofunctional therapists.
At the time, I had never even heard of a tongue-tie. The work she described immediately connected with the subjects I had already spent years studying—the mouth, the nervous system, embryology and the way patterns throughout the body can influence one another. I accepted the position and returned to the Neurovascular Institute for additional education focused on embryology, feeding strategies and tongue-tie.
It felt as though my career had come full circle.
Since then, I've had the privilege of working hands-on with thousands of babies and their families. Most of the babies I see clinically are navigating tongue-tie related concerns, often alongside feeding challenges, jaw and neck tension, torticollis patterns, reflux, gas, plagiocephaly and other concerns related to body tension.

My teacher in massage school used to say every body provides you with an opportunity to learn, you just have to be patient and present. The goal isn't to memorize a perfect massage routine. It's to learn how to notice what your baby is showing you through their movement, comfort and response to touch.
My approach has always been to meet the body where it is, listen with my hands and let the baby help guide the work.
My work with babies would not be what it is today without the teachers, colleagues and families who have shared their knowledge with me along the way.
I'm especially grateful to Dr. Cathy Holway, founder of the Neurovascular Institute, where I completed much of my early nervous-system, embryology and mouth-work education. I am also deeply grateful to Dr. Tara and the team at Smart Mouth, where I have worked since 2018. Working alongside professionals in lactation, myofunctional therapy and tongue-tie care and learning from thousands of babies and their families has profoundly influenced the way I work today.
Thank you for being here. I look forward to hearing how massage and bodywork become part of your journey with your baby.
