My baby is struggling with...

Feeding • Sleep • Gas • Reflux • Constipation • Body tension

Digestion and Feeding

Gas, straining, constipation, reflux or frequent fussiness. Difficulty getting comfortable while feeding, painful latch or a tight jaw.

Body Tension

Shoulders up toward the ears, tight legs or feet, clenched hands even when full, arching or difficulty relaxing.

Movement and Development

Prefers looking in one direction, discomfort during tummy time or one side seems tighter or to move differently than the other.

Sleep and Comfort

Restless sleep, difficulty settling, frequent waking or baby seems to have trouble fully relaxing.

Tension from Birth

Long labor, breech positioning, C-section, vacuum or forceps delivery or even a fast birth can be a lot for your baby's body. You may notice tension, positioning preferences or difficulty getting comfortable.

Everyday Positioning

Car seats, feeding positions, diaper changes, tummy time and learning new skills all require different things from your baby's body and brain. Notice if certain positions or movements consistently seem uncomfortable or difficult.

You can learn to support your baby at home.

If you’re here, chances are you’re looking for ways to help your baby feel better. Maybe feeding has been difficult. Maybe sleep is a struggle. Maybe you've noticed tension, tight legs, shoulders up towards the ears or a general sense that your baby isn't comfortable. Or maybe nothing seems particularly wrong but you simply want to better understand your baby's body and learn ways to support them as they grow.

Little Body Balance was created to teach parents and caregivers simple, gentle techniques they can use at home while learning how to notice their baby's cues, recognize areas of tension and feel more confident using massage and bodywork. The good news is you don't have to be a bodyworker to learn and apply these techniques.

Baby massage doesn't have to be perfect to be effective. Sometimes it starts with simply slowing down, noticing what your baby is showing you and learning a few tools that help you feel more confident supporting them at home.
